Hiroshima is NOT Chernobyl!
Hiroshima a dispetto di Chernobyl è tutt’altro che un luogo desolato, anzi è pieno di vita a dispetto di quello che successe il mattino del 6 agosto 1945 alle ore 8:15 quando l’aeronautica militare statunitense sgancio Little Boy sulla città.La ricostruzione incominciò qualche anno più tardi, togliendo tutte le macerie ad eccezione di un edificio, simbolo della tragedia e conservato a futuro ricordo: il Genbaku Dome, “Cupola della bomba atomica”.
Hiroshima is at the opposite of Chernobyl. It isn’t a desolate place, indeed it is full of life in respect of what happened the morning of August 6, 1945 at 8:15 am when the US Air Force released Little Boy on the city. The reconstruction began a few years later, removing all the rubble except for a building, a symbol of the tragedy and preserved in the future: the Genbaku Dome

All’interno del museo della pace si possono trovare reperti del giorno dell’esplosione nucleare, molti di essi appartengono anche a dei bambini.

L’Hiroshima di oggi è una classica città giapponese con i suoi grattacieli, pubblicità al neon e con la sua specilità culinaria: l’okonomiayaki, molto diverso da quello di Osaka ma lo stesso molto buono.
Today’s Hiroshima is a classic Japanese city with its skyscrapers, neon advertising and its culinary specialty: okonomiayaki, very different from that of Osaka but very good.
